Taking place on December 2, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving when people around the world celebrate the generosity that the holiday spirit inspires.
For the past two years, PACS’s families have been the recipient of the generosity of the JAO. This philanthropic group raises funds to provide backpacks and school supplies to our kids so they will have the tools to start off the school year.

The CiMH “Building the Evidence” Summit Conference on May 30, 2014 was a multicultural experience that presented how different ethnic communities develop community defined practices.
In May 2014, Executive Director, Mariko Kahn was invited to Washington, DC to participate in activities for APA Heritage Month. This was organized and partially subsidized by NAPAfASA.
On March 10, 2014, Mariko Kahn was honored at the LA County Commission for Women’s luncheon as the “Woman of the Year” from Board Supervisor Don Knabe’s 4th District.
